Designed by KBEX, this 3BHK residence in Shela, Ahmedabad draws its identity from a Canadian-inspired approach to colour — cool, muted tones paired with warm wood, used deliberately to give each family member their own distinct space within a single, cohesive home.
The kitchen and living areas are grounded in a soft sage green, carried consistently across cabinetry, seating and breakfast counter for a calm, unified shared space. From there, the home opens into three individually themed bedrooms, each treated as its own small world: a sky blue room with an arched headboard nook and a dedicated study corner, a soft yellow bedroom balancing rest and work with a built-in desk by the window, and a blush pink room finished with a vanity table and rounded stool for a softer, more personal touch.
Each bedroom's ensuite bathroom continues its room's palette and character — from patterned monochrome tiling to soft sage fittings to warm blush finishes — so that colour becomes a wayfinding tool as much as a design choice. The result is a home that feels playful and considered in equal measure, built for a family where every member's space reflects a little of who they are.
